The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella PDRN 1.5 Cream is an intensive yet lightweight barrier-strengthening moisturising cream, specifically developed for the care of sensitive, dehydrated, redness-prone skin with a weakened and stressed skin barrier due to external factors.

At the heart of the formula is 1.5% – that is 15,000 ppm – high purity, vegan PDRN (Sodium DNA), complemented by Madagascar Centella asiatica extract, madecassoside, panthenol, Ceramide NP, squalane, allantoin and moisturising ingredients.

Unlike traditional animal-derived PDRNs, the Biome PDRN used by SKIN1004 is plant-based and produced by laboratory fermentation, without ingredients derived from fish or other animals. The manufacturer states it is 99% pure PDRN.

SKIN1004 conducted clinical studies with the finished formula in 2026 in cooperation with the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences.

The study involved 21 adult women and measured, among other things, the skin-soothing effect after external irritation and changes in hydration.

According to the manufacturer’s reported results:

• 24.40% improvement was measured after chemical irritation following two weeks of use,
• 25.25% improvement after physical irritation following a single use,
• 71.56% improvement after infrared radiation-induced irritation following a single use.

Regarding hydration measurements after a single use:
