💇♂️ Scalpy Bubble Tonic – targeted, cooling scalp care with a foamy texture
Our scalp needs conscious care just like our facial skin. When sebum, hair product residues or dead skin cells quickly accumulate at the roots, the scalp can feel heavy and less fresh. The seapuri Scalpy Bubble Tonic is a lightweight, leave-on foaming tonic designed specifically for such situations. It is not a traditional shampoo and should not be treated as a hair wash: it can be applied to selected areas and spread with a built-in soft silicone brush.
🌊 What makes this scalp tonic special?
The dispenser delivers the product in a foamy consistency directly onto the scalp. The angled silicone brush helps reach the hair roots without needing to spread the product in your palm first. With gentle, short massaging movements, you can easily direct it to the desired area. The brush is removable for regular cleaning; however, mechanical scrubbing should not be forced, especially on sensitive skin.
We primarily recommend the tonic for those who want a fresher scalp feeling between washes or wish to care separately for areas prone to oiliness or visible flaking. The foam does not replace regular, proper shampoo cleansing but can be a convenient addition to the scalp care routine.
🌿 Key ingredients and their roles
Salicylic Acid (BHA): helps loosen dead skin cells accumulated on the surface. This can be especially useful where the scalp tends to become oily and feels less clean due to deposits.
Piroctone Olamine: a known ingredient for caring for dandruff-prone scalp. As part of the formula, it may contribute to the cosmetic treatment of discomfort associated with visible flaking.
Menthol: provides a characteristic, immediate cooling sensation. Many find this pleasant after washing hair or in warm weather; however, the intense coolness may cause a stinging sensation on sensitive scalps.
Panthenol and Allantoin: nourishing ingredients that support hydration and comfort. Hydrolysed wheat protein and several amino acids contribute to the conditioning nature of the hair and scalp care formula.
The INCI starts with seawater and includes plant extracts – among others papaya, apple, grape and Japanese apricot. Additionally, the second ingredient is Alcohol Denat., and the product contains fragrance. Therefore, it is not our first choice for very sensitive, inflamed or damaged scalp.
💧 Place in the hair care routine
Shake the bottle first, then part your hair where you want to care for the scalp. Dispense a small amount of foam directly onto the skin and gently massage in with the silicone brush. The product does not need to be rinsed out. It can be used after washing hair or between washes as needed. If your hair tends to flatten easily, start with a small amount and treat only the problematic areas.
❓ Frequently asked questions about Scalpy Bubble Tonic
Does it need to be rinsed out of the hair?
No. This is a leave-on, foaming tonic for the scalp; it is not a shampoo foam and not a rinse-out treatment.
How is it different from a scalp scrub?
Salicylic acid is the cosmetic exfoliating ingredient, while the brush helps with spreading. Strong, grainy scrubbing is not necessary.
Is it suitable for dandruff-prone scalp?
Due to piroctone olamine, it may fit into the routine for scalp prone to visible dandruff. For persistent, severe flaking, sores or inflammation, a dermatological examination is recommended.
Can I use it every day?
The manufacturer intends it for regular use. We would start with gradual introduction because not all scalps tolerate the combination of alcohol, menthol and salicylic acid equally.
Is it considered a hair growth treatment?
It is not a medicinal hair loss treatment. The goal is a cleaner, better cared for, more comfortable scalp; it does not treat the cause of hair loss on its own.
How do I keep the applicator clean?
After use, clean the removable silicone brush according to the manufacturer’s instructions, then dry it completely. Do not share the applicator that contacts the scalp with others.
