🧬 Key active ingredients
Niacinamide – 10%
The formula contains 100,000 ppm, that is 10% niacinamide.
This higher concentration of vitamin B3 supports a more even, radiant skin appearance, finer skin texture and proper skin barrier function.
It is especially suitable for routines of dull, uneven-toned skin or skin with visible pores.
Tranexamic Acid – 5%
The serum contains 50,000 ppm, that is 5% tranexamic acid.
Tranexamic acid is primarily used in cosmetic skincare to care for pigment irregularities, darker spots remaining after acne and the visible appearance of uneven tone.
This is considered a high concentration even among medicube’s current TXA serums.
Arbutin – 2%
The third important tone-care active in the formula.
2% arbutin works together with niacinamide and tranexamic acid to support a clearer, more even and radiant complexion.
Therefore, although the “15” refers to the sum of niacinamide + TXA, the serum actually builds on a 10% + 5% + 2% triple tone-care system.
10 types of hyaluronic acid
The current formula contains ten different forms of hyaluronic acid:
- Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
- Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate
- Dimethylsilanol Hyaluronate
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Potassium Hyaluronate
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate
- Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
- Sodium Hyaluronate Dimethylsilanol
- Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
The multi-layered hydrating system helps maintain a softer, plumper and more hydrated skin feel.
Panthenol + betaine
Two hydrating and skin comfort-supporting ingredients that help balance the formula built on higher concentration actives.
Glutathione + ferulic acid
Antioxidant, radiance-supporting ingredients that complement the care of dull, tired-looking skin.
Vitamin B12 – Cyanocobalamin
Vitamin B12 is also included in the formula.
According to medicube, the shade due to the product’s natural pigments and vitamin B12 content may fade over time, but this does not in itself indicate a decrease in product efficacy.
3 peptides
The formula contains:
- Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5
- Hexapeptide-9
- Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5
peptides.
These are complementary elements of the formula that support smoother, more elastic and well-cared-for skin appearance.
Adenosine
A cosmetic active that supports smoother, more elastic skin appearance and the less pronounced overall effect of fine lines.
📊 What did the manufacturer’s tests show?
Based on medicube’s 72-hour finished product test:
- A 2.045% improvement was measured in the indicator of clearer, more radiant skin appearance,
- An 18.1% improvement in the measured hydration value.
These are manufacturer cosmetic test results, so individual results may vary.
🎯 Who is it recommended for?
It can be a particularly good choice for:
- dull skin,
- uneven skin tone,
- caring for the visible appearance of pigmentation spots,
- darker spots remaining after acne,
- uneven skin texture,
- dehydrated skin,
- caring for the visible appearance of enlarged pores,
- if you are looking for a targeted, high active ingredient content tone care serum.
Medicube recommends it for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
🧴 How to use
After cleansing and toner, apply a few drops to the face, then gently spread and pat in.
Follow with a moisturising cream.
Can be used both morning and evening.
Always finish your daytime routine with an appropriate sunscreen – especially if your goal is to care for pigmentation spots and uneven skin tone.
⚠️ What to watch out for?
The 10% niacinamide higher concentration may cause temporary stinging, warmth or redness on very sensitive or reactive skin.
The formula contains no separate Parfum/Fragrance, however Rosa Centifolia Flower Oil, i.e. rose oil, is listed in the INCI. Therefore, it cannot be considered completely essential oil-free.
If your skin is sensitive, you can start by using it once daily, then switch to morning and evening use according to your tolerance.
💗 Why do we love it?
Because this really is a targeted, well-defined tone care formula.
The 10% niacinamide, 5% tranexamic acid and 2% arbutin together say much more about the product than a general “brightening serum” label. The 10 types of hyaluronic acid, panthenol and betaine ensure that hydration is not neglected alongside the concentrated active formula.
It can be a particularly good choice if you want to care simultaneously for dull skin, uneven tone, post-acne discolorations and skin texture.
