Kojic Acid – 300 ppm
The formula contains 300 ppm, i.e. 0.03% kojic acid.

Turmeric Root Extract – 500 ppm
Curcuma Longa Root Extract is present in the formula at 500 ppm, i.e. 0.05% concentration.

BHA – Salicylic Acid

🧴 How to use
Shake well before use .
After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount to dry body skin and gently massage over the desired area.
As you massage the product, dead skin cells and surface impurities may clump into small “balls”.
Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
After use, it is advisable to continue your routine with a body lotion or cream.
⚠️ What to watch out for?
The formula contains Alcohol, as well as BHA, PHA and LHA exfoliants, so do not use on irritated, damaged or highly sensitive skin.
Do not apply to freshly shaved or waxed skin; wait until the skin is completely calm again.
The formula also contains several essential oils – including bergamot, grapefruit, orange blossom and peppermint oils – so this should be taken into account for skin sensitive to fragrances or essential oils.
Do not use on intimate areas.
Use appropriate sun protection during the day on exfoliated, sun-exposed body areas.

Can it be used on the face?
We do not recommend it. This 280 ml Body Peel Shot is a version specifically developed for the body.
Medicube offers a separate Kojic Acid Turmeric Peel Shot product for the face.
Does it need to be rinsed off?
Yes. This is not a leave-on acidic body lotion.
Massage onto dry skin, then when the surface dead skin cells and impurities roll up, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Does it contain real kojic acid?
Yes. Kojic Acid 300 ppm, which corresponds to 0.03% in the current INCI.
How much turmeric does it contain?
500 ppm Curcuma Longa Root Extract, which corresponds to 0.05%.
What exfoliating acids does it contain?
Three different systems:
- BHA: Salicylic Acid
- PHA: Gluconolactone
- LHA: Capryloyl Salicylic Acid
Can it be used daily?
It is an exfoliating product, so we would not assume that the more often the better.
It is advisable to use it less frequently at first, then adjust the frequency according to skin tolerance.
Can it be used after shaving?
Not immediately afterwards. Medicube specifically recommends waiting until the skin has calmed down after shaving or waxing.
Can it be used on the inner thigh?
According to Medicube, it can be used on the outer skin surface of the inner thigh, but it must not be applied to intimate areas or irritated skin.
Is it suitable for keratosis pilaris?
The product’s BHA, PHA and LHA exfoliants are well suited for the cosmetic care of rough skin surfaces dotted with small bumps, but it is not considered a medicinal treatment for keratosis pilaris.
Does it contain moisturizing ingredients as well?
Yes. It also contains Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide NP, panthenol and allantoin.
How is it different from the 80 ml Kojic Acid Turmeric Peel Shot?
This is the 280 ml Body Peel Shot, developed for larger body areas and the rougher skin of arms, legs, knees, elbows and back.
The smaller Peel Shot is a separate facial skincare product, so the two formulas and instructions for use should not be confused.
