🧬 Key ingredients
Centella Asiatica Extract
A defining ingredient of the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella range. In the cream, it supports a more comfortable, calmer and balanced skin feel.
TECA – Madecassoside + Asiaticoside + Madecassic Acid + Asiatic Acid
A combination of four characteristic active components of centella asiatica. SKIN1004 uses them as an important part of hydration and comfort-supporting care in the formula.
Panthenol – 1500 ppm
A B5 provitamin that helps bind and retain moisture, thereby supporting a softer, more comfortable skin feel.
Squalane
A skin-softening lipid that helps reduce dryness and tightness and supports the comfort of the skin’s natural protective layer.
Shea butter + macadamia and meadowfoam oils
Nourishing plant lipids that soften the skin and help retain moisture without giving the cream a classic heavy balm feel.
Niacinamide
A versatile form of vitamin B3 that supports a more even, radiant skin appearance and proper skin barrier function.
Ceramide NP
An ingredient related to the skin’s natural lipid layer that supports barrier care and maintaining a more hydrated skin feel.
🎯 Who is it recommended for?
It can be a particularly good choice for:
- normal skin,
- dehydrated, comfort-lost skin,
- skin prone to sensitivity,
- those looking for a more nourishing but not heavy moisturiser than light gel creams,
- those wanting a centella moisturiser with plant lipids and barrier-supporting ingredients.
🧴 How to use
Apply an appropriate amount to the face as the last hydrating step in your skincare routine, then gently pat or smooth into the skin.
Finish your morning routine with sunscreen.
💗 Why do we love it?
Because it strikes a well-balanced middle ground between very light gel moisturisers and rich barrier creams. Alongside centella and TECA, it provides genuine lipid care with squalane, shea butter and plant oils, yet it does not sit on the skin as a heavy, waxy layer.
This makes it especially good when the skin needs more than a simple hydrating gel but you do not yet want to use a rich, heavy cream.
❓ Q&A
How is it different from Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream?
Centella Cream is a creamier, more nourishing formula with more plant lipids, squalane and TECA complex. Soothing Cream is a lighter, gel-like moisturiser.
How is it different from Probio-Cica Enrich Cream?
Probio-Cica Enrich Cream is a richer, specifically barrier-focused formula with fermented centella. Centella Cream is lighter, positioned as a general everyday moisturiser between the two.
Can it be used morning and evening?
Yes. It can be used as a moisturiser in both routines.
What is the texture like?
Smooth, richer cream texture that spreads easily and leaves a soft, hydrated finish. It is not a gel cream, nor a heavy barrier balm.
Is it fragrance-free?
Not entirely. The current INCI contains lavender and orange oils, as well as fragrance allergens, so it is not recommended for those specifically seeking fragrance- or essential oil-free creams.
